Since Dr. Elizabeth Underwood was a young child, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from University of Connecticut in 2012. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in 2016. After graduation Dr. Underwood completed a small animal rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey. Prior to joining CVRC, she worked as an emergency veterinarian in New York as well as Texas. Outside of work, Dr. Underwood enjoys going to the beach and hiking with her husband and dog Ryder, in addition to horseback riding.
