Emergency Medicine
I originally entered veterinary medicine to become a large animal veterinarian so I could work with horses. However, once I was exposed to small animal emergency in my clinical year, I never looked back. My favorite thing about veterinary medicine is critical care and my favorite place in the hospital has been, and will always be, the Intensive Care Unit.
Personally, I have one dog, a golden retriever named Dug! He is my constant companion and is never far from my side.
