Emergency Medicine
Dr. O’Keefe was singing professionally in New York City when her mini Australian Shepherd, Ellie, got sick. Ellie got better, but Dr. O’Keefe fell for veterinary medicine and never looked back. She worked as a technician before attending Cornell for vet school, and found her niche in the wide variety and urgency of emergency medicine. She comes to Charleston from Baltimore, MD, and while she is very excited about the culture (and the food!) in the low country, she is NOT excited about the alligators.
