Our pet hospital, similar to those for humans, offers sophisticated medical and surgical technologies. Diagnostic imaging modalities include MRI, CT, endoscopy, X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and digital radiology. We perform minimally invasive procedures using flexible and rigid endoscopes, including arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. Patients diagnosed with cancer can now receive electrochemotherapy, significantly reducing the number of treatments needed for local tumor control. Using the most current options in pain management enables us to keep animals calm and comfortable. Our Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Department offers land and water treadmill therapy to speed recovery. CVRC also has an in-house pharmacy, a full service, in-house laboratory, blood bank and the latest in patient monitoring devices and lifesaving equipment such as controlled-environment oxygen cages and mechanical ventilator. The quality of air in the hospital is conditioned and exchanged frequently to decrease likelihood of infectious disease contagion while minimizing odor.
The most important attribute of CVRC, however, is our staff. We have assembled a remarkable group of doctors, veterinary technicians (nurses) and support personnel. Our board-certified specialists have been selected for their uncommon skills in areas such as emergency and critical care, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, dentistry, physical rehabilitation and sports medicine. CVRC’s veterinary technicians, essential to superior patient care, were chosen for their dedication, compassion and years of clinical experience.
Simply stated, our priorities are exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and effective communication. We are pet owners as well as veterinary professionals. We all realize that your pets are family members – and having one ill or injured is upsetting and stressful. We promise to help you and your pet through that experience as compassionately and comfortably as possible.
We are most grateful for the trust you and your veterinarian have placed in us and encourage any suggestions for better serving you and your pet.
